The team had discontinued use of their previous static HTML website due to high costs and long turn-around time associated with updates from previous web developer. They also had a growing list of clients and prospects and needed a way to manage regular e-mail communications.

The partners were non-techies that needed a simple way to manage their website content themselves without the complexity of traditional content management systems.

teqKnowledgy developed a home grown content management system from scratch using ASP.Net/VB.Net 3.5, CSS and SQL Server 2008 running in a shared hosting environment. The site utilized AJAX features of ASP.Net 3.5 to create modern UI experience for site visitors and content editors. Content could be updated using a WYSIWYG style HTML editor control.

The custom web app also also featured a custom contact management component that enabled regular client/prospect e-mail communications and tracking.
